group Neoliberalism: Is it an invention or not? Part II

The global economic growth had reached an impasse in mid eighteenth century it had been based on a system of manual labor. The great economic progress occurred with the emergence of capitalism where the Industrial Revolution brought the economy to grow now based on technological advancement. Productivity led to decrease poverty and that people were employed. The alternative before the industrial revolution was an extreme socialism: all were poor and had no hope of improving their standard of living.
socialism began to take hold after the First World War and the great depression of the 30's. The socialist trend was catching on in several countries and eliminated the role of the market in the economy. The State divided the land, intervened in the production areas and increased public spending. This model failed after 70 years. The Agrarian Revolution in China killed 40 million people.
Some members of the Movement break 25 (current members) accuse capitalism to turn everything into a commodity (goods, services, labor force) and reinforces the neoliberal capitalist system commodifying health systems, education, water supply, energy , etc. They say that art religion and culture are restricted to a single space: the market.
The trial of Mr. Enrique Arosemena A.: Should a socialist world? notes that currently 90% of the world would be poor, as it was in 1800 when the Industrial Revolution began to take hold if capitalism had not appeared on the world stage.
do not understand how some people continue to defend a system that failed and condemned humanity to poverty and social backwardness. It is thanks to capitalism (free enterprise system) that today we have many technological innovations and the reason why many small businesses are now great. Capitalism provides many opportunities to improve the standard of living but to grasp them. The principle of redistribution of wealth explicitly violates the freedoms of individuals.
can not defend the indefensible and that the incentives of private enterprise with the State are different. The market is the sole judge of private enterprise and the entrepreneur. If an employer violates a law or cheating must be punished in court to prevent others do the same. There and only there, we can speak of a liberal system in the country. President Correa said that Ecuador is now leaving "big long and sad neoliberal night" when referring to the adoption of any economic or social reform that gives more interference to the State and not the market. I have a fear of the market because they know that there must be efficient and productive.
His rhetoric calls to the old neoliberal politicians and businessmen who have used the state as an instrument to benefit. That is not called neoliberal is called corruption. But they have to give it some marketing to socialism, and evil associated with the ideology that do not share that take push on consumers (citizens). Not only in Ecuador is being felt again return of the old socialist ideas but in most of Latin America. Again it is delaying the progress of peoples. It would not be fair to describe this phenomenon as "the return of the great socialist night long? Socialism itself is fully implemented and its consequences (famine, poverty and dead) are recorded in the history books. It's the same socialist ideology mixed with corruption of governments and political parties that have plunged the country into poverty.
Liberalism has never been applied in the nation and is associated with poor economic and social deployment public policies described as "free market." If there is no rule of law is not liberalism.
